Valley Course :Hole 14 Kilimanjaro

Unique’ is about the best way to sum up this very unusual PAR 5. As always on this course, the placement of your drive is pivotal. Anything to the right or to the left, you will be blocked out for your 2 shot. Two options face you if you have hit a good drive: 1) lay-up on to the top of the hill 2) go for the green----trying to hit right over this ‘minor’ obstacle is an experience you will not forget in a hurry. Do not forget that once in a life time, you will find yourself stand-ing over a Rock Wall after your second shot. This is the only realistic chance that you will have, reaching one of the long holes at Wangjuntr in two shots--so make the best of it.

     An outstanding design by any measure! This 493 yard Par-5 can be reached in two perfect shots-but your second shot has to travel over a menacing hill blocking the green; or you can go in conventional style by placing your second on top of the little “Kilimanjaro” and then making the approach with a short club to the green down-below. The panoramic view from the top is truly one to be saviour.
