Highland Course :Hole 2 Crouching Dragon

Challenging PAR 5, slightly uphill to two well positioned greens---from the Championship Tee, you are hitting over water to a fairway protected by “Dragon” hills and bunkers. Your 2 shot is a strategic lay up, depending on the green you are heading for. The green on the right requires your approach to be hit over the edge of a lake onto a green, which situates just a little below you. The green on the left; however, is more or less straight up the fairway. Obviously any lay up shot should not be carried out with complacency---especially on the 2 because you will be faced with a particularly difficult 3 shot to either green. The opportunity of a par or even a rare birdie will diminish.
