Highland Course :Hole 1 Colosseum

Traditional kind, the opening hole is a down hill--dog leg right--PAR 4. However, this hole will give you an idea of what is to come. Straight from the clubhouse to the tee full of confidence, you might be misguided, trying to cut off the dog leg and head for ‘One On’ the green, and ‘Yes’ it is possible, but with a mixture of rocks and pot bunkers, lying in wait for the arrant Tee Shot--this ‘risk reward’ initial hole will test your golfing ability right from the start. The putting surface is also sympathetic to your 1 hole nerves--and it is a fine view looking back from the green up towards the Clubhouse. Remember how you feel now as this feeling definitely will not be the same when you see the Clubhouse again!
